About me

My name is Tim and I used to have Paruresis (Shy Bladder).
In 2019, I overcame it, and am now living in Pisac, in the beautiful Sacred Valley in Peru, working with plant medicine, and helping others find freedom through self‑acceptance.

My journey has been shaped by 15 years of avoidance and shame, a life‑changing encounter with Ayahuasca, and a choice to trade routine for a life of travel and purpose.

If you’d like to know more, read on below.
If you haven't yet, I highly recommend reading my story.
If you’d prefer to connect directly - let’s talk.

More about me

The raw and transparent version.

Starting around my 15th, I developed Paruresis - more commonly known as Shy Bladder Syndrome. It dominated my life until I was 29.
That’s when I met ‘mother’ Ayahuasca. February 2019.

Just three months later, I was on a plane headed for Nepal to hike the Annapurna Circuit.
Five months after that, I was on a plane to India. I had sold my house, quit my job, and was ready for freedom - for adventure.

For more than a year, that’s what drove me.

Until I started feeling a need to give back.
I’ve never been a very passionate person - I’ve never really known “what I wanted.” And that’s also how this started. Outside of a vague idea of ‘giving back,’ there wasn’t much direction.

I decided to travel to Peru in 2021.
All I knew was that I wanted to learn more about the medicine, about Ayahuasca.
I did not make that journey with any idea of working with the medicine myself.

But in the years and many ceremonies that followed, I found myself driven - and for the first time, passionate - about a path.
I wanted to be an instrument for the medicine, to help others heal the way she helped me heal myself.

Parallel to this, I also felt a need - almost a responsibility - toward people still suffering from Paruresis.
I remember searching online for hope. So often, after days of reading about the experience of others, I’d be even more convinced I could never change.

And so I realized how powerful my story could be.
Especially for people stuck in that place - convinced they’ll never change.

So I decided to write it.
If it helps even one person find hope and a new perspective, I’ll have given back.

Yet in this work, and through years of traveling, I’ve learned something else about myself.
I can listen well. I’m insightful. I help people shift perspectives.
I’m compassionate and have an open heart. People connect with me and trust me easily.

I believe what I want to show others - that self‑acceptance is the key to inner freedom, and that so much can be overcome with it - is an objective truth.

I truly believe I can be of value to you.
And in the end, the only way I can prove that is if you give me a chance.

So whether you suffer from Paruresis, you’re a traveler in Peru looking for support around an Ayahuasca experience, or you’re just someone who’d like to talk -

Let’s have that talk.

What I offer

Paruresis Coaching

My coaching is built on my journey of overcoming severe Paruresis. I offer a unique, proven path for this specific anxiety, and I've found the same framework is transformative for anyone struggling with the weight of social anxiety.

Ayahuasca Ceremony Support

My personal healing path led me to a five-year immersion in plant medicine in Peru. I've since trained with and supported experienced guides. While my primary focus is anxiety coaching, this allows me to also offer guided Ayahuasca support here in Pisac, Peru.
