My Story

For many years, I carried a secret that shaped almost every part of my life.

It affected where I went, what I did, and how I saw myself.

That secret was Paruresis.

What started as a struggle to pee in certain situations slowly became something I had to organize my life around.

Over time, I found myself avoiding situations, organizing my life around fear, and carrying the weight of something that was almost impossible to share.

Searching for a way out

For years, I searched for a way out.

I tried different approaches, looked for answers, and hoped that one day I would finally be free from the limitations Paruresis had created in my life.

I believed that if I could just find the right solution, I would finally become the person I wanted to be.

Liberated Waters

From Paruresis and shame to freedom and acceptance.

This journey became the foundation of my book, Liberated Waters.

In it, I share the story of living with Paruresis for many years.
The fear, shame, limitations, and search for a way out.

More importantly, I share the shift that changed everything: learning to see myself differently and discovering a freedom that was not dependent on becoming someone else.

From my story to yours

If something in my story feels familiar, I want you to know that you're not alone.

For a long time, I believed Paruresis would always define my life.

Discovering a different relationship with fear, shame, and myself has changed what I thought was possible.

Today, I help others understand what keeps them stuck, question the way fear has shaped their lives, and discover that they can live with more freedom.
